about

Hòa thượng Thích Quảng Đức (b. 1897 – d. 11 June 1963) was a Vietnamese Mahayana Buddhist monk who burned himself to death at a busy Saigon road intersection on 11 June 1963. Thích Quảng Đức was protesting against the persecution of Buddhists by South Vietnam's Ngô Đình Diệm administration.

After his death, his body was re-cremated, but his heart remained intact. This was interpreted as a symbol of compassion and led Buddhists to revere him as a bodhisattva, heightening the impact of his death on the public psyche.

lyrics

Don't Throw Water When We Spit Fire
We're Gonna Burn Your Soul To The Ground

BRA The Goat Carcass:
07, 8, 9 – three years runnin
nah more like sprinting – the ruckus is coming
with this pen, I flow a perfect 10 – thats stunning
acting hard but thats me only frontin'
cause I'm a bitch, white boy trying to rap
call my shit crap – for sure that's worth a slap
not from me, however, one of my boys
they got my back when I say fuck that noise
People can't tame-us
I wanna get famous
Yeah try and knock us
we'll still play
forget the words said
listen to what we say
NOW

Turbo:
Instead of knocking people down
Burning souls to the ground
Here's a little bit of knowledge that I have found
Holding in hatred's like holding hot embers
You're the one that gets burnt but no on remembers
Before Buddha was Buddha, he was Siddhartha Gautama
Life is suffering and it's harder than you want a
world to be but you can't see
violence everywhere tearing apart humanity
Drop Beats, Not Bombs. Get Guitars, Not Guns.
Use the Swords of Speech not the slaughtering of sons.
Be a citizen of the world, put back what's right in it.
Work together and we might reach enlightenment.

Corduroy Phoenix:
It's about time for the Phoenix and the Corduroy
To light this track up like the south of the border boy
Have no time for these petty accusations
Got a bit to say and my mind is racing.
The economy's looking rough, Speak Easy's doing fine.
Turbo got mics, ATel quit doing lines.
The time we've had, the jams that been made.
Have been most fruitful, top grade
As I head northwest, and they to Temple
Yes I'll miss these boys not to sound sentimental.
Whatever happens next, death or def jam
Imma miss these times cause these fuckers are fam.
