A bolt of lightning is symbolic. It is a symbol of loss of ignorance. It also represents the punishment of humans from the gods. In dreams, lightning is a symbol of a terrible event and negativity.


Mountain or range of mountains can symbolize obstacles, climbing over one or passing through a range indicates overcoming obstacles or making progress, and climbing up a mountain or other height often indicates spiritual or mental "rising" or improvement. Mountains can be used to create a secluded, isolated or hard to reach place. Such a place could symbolize loneliness or difficult to achieve mental, spiritual or emotional states.
