about

The subconscious is a term very commonly encountered as a layman's replacement for the unconscious mind, which in Freud's opinion is a repository for socially unacceptable ideas, wishes or desires, traumatic memories, and painful emotions put out of mind by the mechanism of psychological repression.

In the psychoanalytic view, the unconscious is a force that can only be recognized by its effects — it expresses itself in the symptom.

Unconscious thoughts are not directly accessible to ordinary introspection, but are supposed to be capable of being "tapped" and "interpreted" by special methods and techniques such as meditation, random association, dream analysis, and verbal slips (commonly known as a Freudian slip), examined and conducted during psychoanalysis.

lyrics

BRA The Goat Carcass:
From the beginning we were never singing
Noise ruckus all around
1, 2, 3, 4 J5 sound
is being emulated
What is stimulated?
Insert the concerta
and focus
Give me the mic so I poke this
ADHD is taking over me.
Distracting cacophony
Turbo, Benjamin, don't forget me.
Speak Easy's here, BYO Beer
Now my head goes side to side
Making musical simplistic strides
To be perfect, to be perfect!

Corduroy Phoenix:
Finally recorded, it’s about time,
Get what we deserve from the beats and our rhymes,
Things are going well, the music sounds great,
Don’t get cocky just keep your head straight,
Don’t know what it is about these two boys,
Came a long way from the days of makin’ noise,
Stoppin’ by the house getting geared up,
Playin’ ill jams, getting cheered up.
No seriously guys, what we do brings me happiness
Most days go according to the plan,
Get together make music write to our fans,
We don’t have fans, we don’t have fans
I take it back mic check 1, 2
Not very many fans hey how bout you.
We don’t need them now or then.
Just as long as tight lines flow from the pen.
I’m a keep doin’ what I try best,
Life’s a rhyme exam hope I pass the test

Turbo:
The thoughts you hear come from the unspoken,
This vibration gets you higher than grass smoking.
I don’t need a beer or cigarette, I figure that…
I’m in for the long hike, not with the wrong type,
The fruits of my mind have gone ripe.
So we’re on the way. We do in day…
What God did in a week,
So hear it in the beat and inherit like the meek.
No nonsense… monetary profits,
Now we gotta stop this, claiming to be prophets.
No more gangster bullets drug peddling mob hits.
I can get my self home without a cell phone.
Now I’m free like a fugitive, living in the future is,
Bright, so maybe I just might,
Break free from you and me.

Trade Lines in the order of Ben/Andrew/Alex:
Turbo doesn’t even have to play guitar,
Put it on the keyboard, rock sitar,
Turbo doesn’t play, that’s kind of gay.

We’re burly quasar that’s right we legit,
Droppin’ beats not bombs on the 4/4 shit
Ben’s words sever, that was kind of clever.

No time wasted in the-- space took,
Take picture, write about it on facebook.
Facebook is cool if you’re a tool.

Groundbreaking beats makin people want to faint,
When it comes to masterpieces, we don’t need to use paint.
Mona Lisa’s nice, if you close your eyes.

The Speak Easy's flying to new spaces,
Tying lines together like a Nike shoelaces.
Nike get a clue, 1 cent per shoe

Needle to the groove but not to my arm,
The beat is causing ruckus so sound the alarm.
Maintain composure, that is the closer.
