‎"Ashes to ashes, dust to dust", a phrase from the
Anglican burial service, used sometimes to denote total finality.

It is based on scriptural texts such as "Dust thou art, and unto dust thou shalt return" (Genesis 3:19), and "I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold thee" (Ezekiel 28:18).

The motto IN GOD WE TRUST was placed on United States coins largely because of the increased religious sentiment existing during the Civil War.

The motto first appeared on the 1864 two-cent coin, followed in 1866 by the 5 cent nickel (1866-1883), quarter dollar, half dollar, silver dollar and gold dollars. It did not become the official U.S. national motto until after the passage of an Act of Congress in 1956.

It is codified as federal law in the United States Code at 36 U.S.C. § 302, which provides:
"'In God we trust' is the national motto."

lyrics

If you like it, I'll change it. I'm not here to impress.
I will slaughter you in this four line mess.
The cost is taking sides with words she said,
Like the braveheart cries resulting in beheads.
She needs to chill, relax and make revisions,
Humble is not when she soaks up my sarcasm.

You know how it is, I’m not quick to past judgment,
But you know what’s fucked up? Capital Punishment.
If the feds want to kill a man it’s double in billing,
They should know bravery lies in dying not in killing.
When homicide occurs someone hurts when they stepping
Yet another life lost by the bullets of a weapon
Thoughts of death manifest by internal invasion
Later on it’s met with moral deflation.
Some like to say we’re the salt of the earth,
So let’s season it with righteousness for that it’s worth.
People come and people go, it’s natural you know,
Stepping toe to toe to life’s ebb and flow,
So don’t stop the show, by the seeds you sow
And I didn’t leave my wallet in el Segundo
So pray to your God, Bush, just above the steeple,
But I’m sure he wouldn’t advocate the killing of his people.

Ashes to ashes, dust to dust,
It’s in nonviolence not in God I trust.

The placebo effect sinks in real, real quick,
Forget about the fact that you feel sick,
Repeat a lie and it becomes a fact,
Comprehend this is not so abstract.
If the hand that feeds you is the hand that beats you,
Bite back, fight back, this repeats through
History’s hindsight ain’t 20/20,
Covering up the truth with cash, money money
The problem is they all act like you don’t know,
Cut off your ears like Vincent Van Gogh.
Lies, lies, lies, and the liars who tell them.
Government, Media, those who yell amen.
And they’re aiming to control you,
Pretend to be your friend, they don’t know you.
They rearrange your mind till you don’t know time,
God knows we weren’t designed to stick to our own kind.

Ashes to ashes, dust to dust,
It’s in nonviolence not in God I trust.
